Two weekends ago I departed on a 4 day road trip with 10 other friends around Slovenia with a short stop in Zagreb, Croatia. Yes, you read the right. I was traveling with 10 others. It was a complicated process with a few people coming for the first two days, another few coming only for the last two days and some of us staying through the whole trip. With so many people on board, it was obvious that there was a lot of luggage to borne and these cargo boxes came real handy.
Seeing Slovenia by car was definitely the right thing to do. The country is beautiful! Everything is green, there are mountains, and its only a short way to the ocean. It takes just over 5 hours to drive through the country so its small.
We stayed in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, and took day trips to different tourist sites in the country. On our way to Ljubljana we crossed the border into Croatia to visit Zagreb.
Over the course of the next few days, I’ll be posting more about my trip:
Day 1 – Zagreb, Croatia
Day 2 – Lake Bled, Slovenia
Day 3 – Ljubljana, Slovenia
Day 4 – Postojna Caves, Slovenia
If you ever get a chance to visit this small country, definitely do it! You won’t regret it. The scenery is just breathtaking.
