About Me

Hello!

Welcome to my blog where I will be documenting my adventures living abroad in Budapest, Hungary for the next year and a half as I live and work in this beautiful city. Originally I hail from Vancouver, Canada. So how did I end up here?

During my time at the University of Victoria, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, I was involved with an organization called AIESEC, the international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential to have a positive impact on society. It is through this amazing organization that I have been presented this opportunity.

AIESEC runs a global internship program for recent graduates and those that will be graduating shortly. Prior to coming to Budapest, I was involved in AIESEC at a local level, assisting in the day to day management of a local chapter. You can read more about my involvement in AIESEC here.

What am I doing in Budapest? I’m working for SELTI International, an English language institute where I am the Chief Operating Officer. I managing the Budapest office and arrange schedules for the teachers that we have on staff. You find out more about what I do on a day to day basis, you can read about my internship or read my posts on work.

Outside of work, I love all things digital and I am too addicted to the internet and the vast amount of information out there.  I’m curious about the world and love learning. I am a trivia fiend and the more random the knowledge, the better.

In my spare time I love cooking, baking and enjoying good food.
