Canada Day 2012!

My flatmate and I held our (now) annual Canada Day celebration with pancakes, maple syrup, poutine and a watermelon. I was originally going to make Nanaimo Bars, but with the 35+ degree heat wave we’re currently in, I’m pretty sure it would have melted before anyone was able to eat it.

It was a great day – and then that evening, Spain won the Eurocup! Needless to say, my Spanish friend was ecstatic. A fantastic ending to a great day.
