Photo of the Week: Cooling Off

Budapest is in the midst of a heat wave this week. Over the weekend temperatures hit 36 degrees on both days. Temperatures for the remainder of the week are forecasted to be in their 30s all week.

People are flocking to Margaret Island and the city parks for relief from the hot sun. When walking down the street, the buildings and pavement amplifies the heat.

Vancouver never gets this hot. I really don’t know how to manage when its so warm and there is hardly any air conditioning anywhere.
