Trivia Friday III

To keep up with the horse theme of the week here is my question of the week:

What horse is the most successful Thoroughbred race horse ever?

Kincsem (meaning ‘my treasure’), born back in 1874, wowed the world with having won all of the 54 races she entered over four seasons, against male and female horses, at various race tracks across Europe. And her record remains unbeaten! She was so popular that on the day she died newspapers were printed with a black edge and flags were flown at half mast.

A race track in Budapest is named after the horse and there is a statue of the horse on the grounds.
